It's not fast and has a large lack of theme support (there's no solarized theme for it, which is industry standard at this point). I just didn't like it and would rather use a more modern editor, e.g. sublime. Only took a day or two to write the required plugins to get our language support for it.

I cannot disagree more with all that omyou said.

The UI can be whatever you want.

It has themes, and I understand you can create your own.

I don't see how sublime is more modern. For me are very similar.
