Hmm, it's easier for me to type than to talk I think. Talking requires more focus.


I find that my typing is much better because I can constantly re-parse the sentence as I am writing it. With speech, I have to memorize what I've said instead, and that causes a lot more screwups.


yes, same. And the more time passes, the more this skews. My thoughts flow naturally into words when I'm typing, but if I have to speak them I forget what words I want to use very easily, and sometimes I'll have to pause for several seconds to recall what I want to say. It almost feels like spoken English isn't my native language anymore, and typing is.


Yeah, honestly to describe talking, it's as if I'm just throwing out things out there cluelessly, hoping all of what I've said makes sense, while when I'm typing everything just comes out according to my natural thought track.
