The issue of misrepresentation is not a minority of activity, as I explicitly pointed out in my comment ("30–40% ..."). And yes, my resume does. I do not owe you to prove this, but I will. Here are some snippets from my resume:
"Strong math, CS, & ML backgrounds (graduate-level), physics and chemistry are so-so, and biology is weak."
"Worked one summer on [redacted] at [redacted], and another summer at [redacted] updating Python2 code to Python3."
I'm not putting the rest because (1) I prefer pseudonymity, (2) "trade" secrets.
I still fail to see the issue if it’s a minority of activity. Does your resume description perfectly correlate to percentage of time spent?
