Hawkeye was played by Alan Alda and I’m kinda offended that anyone would attribute the role to anyone else but I’ve read a bunch of comments on different websites that make it seem like people remember him as Hawkeye.

The Altman film came first, starring DS as Hawkeye. The TV show starred AA.
